Missing: Police ask for public's help locating Letitia Ann Baxter

Anchorage Police announced Tuesday that they seek the public’s assistance in locating missing Anchorage resident Letitia Ann Baxter.

Baxter, 63, was last seen on Aug. 3 at her sister’s residence on the 1000 block of Beech Lane, near Anchorage's Delaney Park Strip. Baxter left the residence around 1:15 p.m. on foot, and told her sister she was heading Downtown to run some errands. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Baxter is a Caucasian female, standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, has gray hair and hazel eyes. She does not have a history of going missing. Her boyfriend told police that she has not returned to her house on the 2300 block of Eagle Street in Midtown. She does not associate with any other friends.

Anchorage Police ask anyone with information regarding Baxter’s whereabouts to call 786-8900.
