Palin email release will be delayed

The Associated Press is reporting that the State of Alaska is asking for another delay in releasing the May 31-promised Sarah Palin email dump. The emails, written while she was the governor, could be in the thousands, and could prove potentially embarrassing for Palin, or not. The last big email dump came in early 2010 as a result of an MSNBC.com request. Breaths were held in anticipation of the emails, and were let out with a big whoomph when they were released. There were some nuggets in there, but much of the potentially juicy items were redacted, and what was left was mostly a lot of chatter about who was saying what about whom. Some of them actually show Palin in a positive light: that she was interested in tough ethics reform, for example. We'll see what comes next. Gov. Sean Parnell's deputy chief of staff said that it could be until June 10 until the emails are released.
