The Huffington Post reports that Palin "mocked Time magazine's decision" on Fox News telling "On the Record" host Greta van Susteren that the publication displayed its "irrelevancy" by choosing the second-term president as the 2012 figurehead. In the same breath, she made sure to note that Time had, after all, once named her among the 100 most influential people in the world.
In the video below, around the 4 minute and 30 second mark, Palin can be heard saying:
Time magazine, I think there’s some irrelevancy there, to tell you the truth. I mean, consider their list of the most influential people in the country and in the world, consider some who made that list: yours truly! That ought to tell you something right there regarding the credence we should give Time magazine and their list of people.
Susteren seems in on the joke -- "That’s an interesting concept," she says.
