Search under way for missing Delta Junction man

Craig MedredAlaska Dispatch

Alaska State Troopers in Delta Junction are searching for 20 year old Emmanuel “Martin” Hosier, whose car was found parked at a local bluff overlooking the Tanana River on Monday. Hosier was last seen by his family on Sunday at 9 p.m. He did not report to work on Monday morning.

Alaska State Trooper Steve Lantz told the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner that Hosier is an experienced outdoorsman, and is known to hike the area.  The hike is common for locals -- hikers walk to the top of a cliff that overlooks the Tanana River and pipeline bridge.

Hosier is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, with black hair and weighing about 180 pounds. Troopers ask anyone with information about Hosier’s whereabouts to call the Delta Junction trooper post at (907) 895-4800.
