State files motion to reconsider Kookesh case

According to the Juneau Empire, the state of Alaska has filed a motion asking the court to reconsider its dismissal of subsistence overfishing charges against state Sen. Albert Kookesh (D-Angoon) and three other defendants. The motion argues that in ruling to dismiss, the court didn't take two important statutes and one regulation into account, and misapplied the ruling from a previous case that was key to arguments on both sides.
