Hurricane-force winds topping 100 mph pummeled Unalaska/Dutch Harbor, Alaska on Dec. 4, knocking over the American President Lines' container crane, which loads Bering Sea pollock and crab and other seafood onto Asia-bound container ships. The APL ships are expected to shift local loading and offloading operations to the container terminal at the city dock, operated by Horizon Lines.
