The Great American Trailer Park Musical
Cyrano's final summer show will premiere this week. In it, a new tenant at Armadillo Acres is wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, a stripper on the run, comes between a Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth-collector husband, a storm begins to brew. Questival Anchorage
Questival is a 24-hour adventure scavenger hunt sponsored by apparel company Cotopaxi. You can do it with your friends — people will go in groups of two to six to tackle outdoors challenges and compete for free trips and gear. The Fest for Questival Anchorage will be held at the Delaney Park Strip. Registration is $44 and includes a backpack. Check-in opens at 6 p.m. Friday, Delaney Park Strip, West Ninth Avenue. '90s all-school reunion dance party with DJ Just Adam
All schools and all classes from the '90s are invited to an unofficial reunion to party like it's 1999 with DJ Just Adam at Williwaw. Goosefest: UAA Summer Music Festival
UAA Student Activities is hosting their third annual summer music festival, Goosefest. Enjoy a lineup of local bands, face painting, food and fun. You can participate in games to win Goosefest swag. Yarducopia Bike Tour
Yarducopia, which helps Anchorage residents set up vegetable gardens, is hosting a garden bike tour. The tour will visit about a handful of gardens in Spenard. Meetup will be at the Spenard Farmers Market at 10 a.m. and finish back there at 1 p.m. After the bike tour, shop around for good veggies at the farmers market. 15th annual West End Block Party
The West End Block Party is an annual event on Fourth Avenue that celebrates summer in Anchorage. Enjoy a $5 barbecue plate, beer and margaritas and live music from Nervis Rex.
