Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell administrations demand that the American people hand over millions of acres of their wildest national forest to special interests is absurd. It puts ideology ahead of what is best for the economy and long-term health of the region.
OPINION: Returning to the days of industrial-scale logging in the Tongass National Forest is a complete non-starter. Alaska should promote existing fishing and tourism industries instead.
