One person was killed and two others wounded in a shooting near Karluk Street and 5th Avenue Monday afternoon, according to Anchorage Police.

The shooting appears to have taken place in a homeless encampment near the classic Anchorage diner Lucky Wishbone. Anchorage police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro said the victims might have been living in a tent at the camp.
