Okay, Alaska, let's hear what you think. We all know how lucky we are to have amazing seafood, great eateries, and retailers that we swear by. But who is the best? Now is your time to rave about your favorites. From doctors to dealerships, from burgers to tanning salons, we want you to cast your vote. On August 22, the Daily News will unveil the 2008 Best of Alaska Section detailing all the winners in 77 categories voted on by you, the reader.

Voting is easy. Just fill out a ballot below (at least 25 categories must be completed in order to qualify for the prize). Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and email address.

OFFICIAL RULES:
Entries must be submitted on an official entry ballot online. One entry per person, per ballot. At least 25 categories must be filled out. Ballots must include name, e-mail, address, and telephone number. Entries not meeting these criteria will not be tabulated nor entered in the drawing for the prize. Anchorage Daily News reserves the right to verify all entries and to eliminate any category for any reason. Entries must be received by Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at noon. No purchase required. Anchorage Daily News will not be responsible for late or misdirected entires. All entries become the property of Anchorage Daily News.

An Anchorage Daily News representative will draw the winning entry by August 1, 2008. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail by August 2, 2008 and will have 30 days from date of drawing to reply and claim the prize. If the winner does not claim the prize, an alternate winner will be drawn. No substitutions will be made for the prize. Void where prohibited by law. Contest open to Alaska residents. Anchorage Daily News employees and immediate family members are not illegible to enter. Limit one ballot per person.

Winner in each category are determined only by readers' votes. No endorsement by Anchorage Daily News is intended or implied. Prudence dictates gathering as much information as possible before patronizing any business.
