PUBLIC NOTICE BROOKS RANGE PETROLEUMCORPORATION PLAN OF OPERATIONS 2012-2013 TOFKAT #2 EXPLORATORY DRILLING The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (DO&G), has received a unit plan of operations application (LONS 12-007) for the TofkatUnitfrom Brooks Range Petroleum Corporation(BRPC, Laurette Rose, 510 L Street, Suite 601, Anchorage, AK 99501, (907) 339-9965). DO&G is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment under 38.05.035(e)(1)(C)(ii). The proposed project located in Section 09; Township 10 North, Range 05 East; of the Umiat Meridian. BRPC has requested to conduct drilling and completing the Tofkat #2 well and possible sidetrack at the Tofkat Ice Pad. Major activities to support the exploration program are proposed to include the following activities: Helicopter travel and landing;Tundra travel via Rolligon or similar tundra-approved vehicle; Snow clearing; Water and ice aggregate collection; Ice road and ice pad construction; Drilling and completing the Tofkat #2 well; and possibly drilling a sidetrack well (Tofkat #2A). Surface ownership is Kuukpik Corporation land. The application meets all of the requirements of 11 AAC 83.346.
