SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE BIG GAME COMMERCIAL SERVICES BOARD BRIEF DESCRIPTION The Big Game Commercial Services Board proposes to amend a regulation subsection pertaining to the hunting experience requirements for an assistant guide license The Big Game Commercial Services Board proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 75, of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with hunting experience, including the following: 12 AAC 75.920, Hunting, guiding, and practical experience, is proposed to be changed to alter the hunting experience requirements. This is a SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE adding to the NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES that was issued on February 2, 2012 and the SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE that was issued on November 2, 2012, concerning these proposed regulation revisions contained in the Department of Law file number JU2012200108. This SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE is being issued because the Big Game Commercial Services Board, during its December 4-6, 2012 meeting, tabled its proposed changes dealing with hunting experience requirements under its initial NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES and SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE, added amendments, and is extending the written comment period and the oral hearing testimony on these proposed regulation changes. Written comments will not be accepted at the hearing. The hearing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and might be extended to accommodate those present before 10:00 a.m. who did not have an opportunity to comment. If you wish to give oral comments, you must be present before 10:00 a.m. and signed up on the register of participants wishing to give testimony. The chair of the Big Game Commercial Services Board may limit each participant's length of oral testimony to a time limit, determined by the chair before the hearing begins, to allow enough time for all those present and timely registered to give testimony. Unless submitting written or oral comments regarding the amendments covered under this SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE, any person who has submitted written or oral comments regarding the proposed changes to the hunting experience requirements under the NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES or SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE need not resubmit comments under this notice as those comments are part of the record and will be considered by the Big Game Commercial Services Board before its adoption of regulation changes.
