Classified ad policies
Private party rates
All private party specials are a flat rate. There are no refunds for early cancellation.

Prepayment
On all private party specials prepayment with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover are required prior to the start date of the ad.

Cancellations
Date and times for cancellation of ads are the same as ad placement deadlines. To cancel your ad, please send the request by e-mail to place-ads@adn.com.

Changes
Once an ad has been submitted the only changes that can be made are price of item, classification, phone number or misspelled words. No other changes can be made to the ad. Submit the change request via e-mail to place-ads@adn.com.

Errors
In the event of an error, an adjustment in cost will be made on the first insertion only. Adjustments are based on how much the error materially affected the ad. In no case will the newspaper's liability exceed the value of the ad.

Placement
Position of an advertisement is not guaranteed. The publisher will attempt to place the advertisements in line with advertisers’ preferences, but will make no adjustments, reruns or refunds because of the position in which the advertisement has been published.

Acceptance
The Anchorage Daily News reserves the right to edit, reject or reclassify any advertisement submitted.

Specifications for graphics
Pictures or logos need to be e-mailed to place-ads@adn.com in JPEG or PDF format. Graphics or logos must be received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) two days prior to the first run date of the ad.
