What Dall sheep DNA reveals

See other events that happened on this day

Come spend an evening with the Campbell Creek Science Center and learn all about Dall sheep as part of the center's Fireside Chat Series. The topic: Dall Sheep -- What Their DNA Tells Us. According to the center:

Dall sheep live throughout Alaska and northwestern Canada. By looking at Dall sheep DNA, scientists have discovered a lot of information about the animals themselves, where they’ve lived through time, and whether or not a particular group is a distinct population from other groups. Join Gretchen Roffler, wildlife biologist with the USGS Alaska Science Center, to learn more about Dall sheep.

Complimentary hot drinks and cookies will be provided by the Friends of the Campbell Creek Science Center. Visit CCSC's website for more.
