'What I did with my biological sciences degree': Becoming a physician
Melissa Shein, M.D., Inupiaq, was a student in the ANSEP(tm) Summer Bridge Program during the summer 1999 at BP. She graduated with a degree in biological sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine. She currently practices family medicine at the Alaska Native Medical Center in the Primary Care Clinic.
