Instructors, Torie Baker and Troy Tirrell, will give participants hands-on training with emergency equipment that should be onboard any commercial fishing vessel, such as PFDs, life rafts, immersion suits, EPIRBs and fire extinguishers.  Participants will practice emergency procedures like man overboard, abandon ship, firefighting and flooding control.

The course is US Coast Guard accepted and meets the training requirements for commercial fishermen operating on documented vessels beyond the federal boundary line. It is open to all mariners and it is recommended for captains and crew serving on any commercial vessel.
