Mat-Su Farmers Market
The Mat-Su Farmers Market is every Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. year round. Everything at the market is made right here in Alaska. Stop by the market to enjoy dinner from one of our delicious food vendors (Mexican, BBQ, and more), and enjoy the atmosphere and some great local goodies.
Just a few of the many things you can find depending on the season:
-zucchini and other squash
-herbs, including French tarragon and sorrel, lovage, sweet marjoram, sage, thyme, Italian parsley, Purple Ruffles and Genovese basil, wild Greek oregano, mint, and cilantro.
Vegetables, such as fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, garlic, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, beets, radishes, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, beans, Brussels sprouts, spinach, collard greens, kale, chard, pumpkins, squash, zucchinis, and more!
Meats, such as beef (ground, roasts, steaks, and other cuts), pork, chicken, duck, and turkey.
Other food items, such as eggs (chicken, duck, and quail) bread, cookies, muffins, brownies, pastries, dairy free coconut kefir, kombucha, kimchi, sauerkrauts, fermented veggies, apple butter, marmalades, jellies, jams, BBQ sauces, mustards and other condiments, honey, and more!
There's also local artists and crafters present. Come pick up some uniquely Alaskan art, artisan soaps, books from local authors, and hand crafted items and gifts.
