Sense of Place: Kobuk Valley National Park
Kobuk Valley National Park is known for sand dunes, caribou migration and as a research stand-in for Martian landscapes. What does it mean to be a tourist in a place like this? A visual artist, poet, curator, educator and filmmaker travel from the Anchorage Museum to the Kobuk and back, exploring the tourist experience and sense of place.
