Free Obituaries for Fallen Soldiers
The men and women who have fought under the banners of Alaska's units have earned our honor, respect and gratitude. To honor Alaska's fallen soldiers and to help create a tribute to their lives and sacrifices, the Daily News will offer free obituaries for our fallen soldiers. This free service will apply to the military men and women who were stationed in Alaska or who were Alaska residents, and killed in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan.
