Midnight Sun Alaskan Regional Chili Cookoff, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., downtown park strip, Ninth and L St. Vote for the People's Choice Chili, meet Mrs. Alaska and Mrs. Anchorage, souvenir T-shirts by Alaskan artist Jon Van Zyle. See vintage military vehicles and antique automobiles. Various vendors. Free cup of Kaladi Bros. Coffee. Sponsored by the International Chili Society. Proceeds go to charity. (563-5122)
