9/11 Community Bike Ride, 4-6 p.m. today, Anchorage Fire Department, 100 E. Fourth Ave. The bike ride honors the victims and heroes of 9/11. For all ages. Runs eight miles along Chester Creek bike trails, ending at the Anchorage Police Department at Bragaw Street and Tudor Road. This is a fundraiser for the Red Cross of Alaska Responder Relief Fund.
