Cooking demonstrations begin

Spenard Builders Supply, 4412 Lois Drive, kicks off this year's Bon Appetit Chef Cooking Demo series at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rob Kinneen, executive chef at Orso, who will make a seared pork dish. Anyone attending this free event can taste the meal, get a copy of the recipe and be entered to win one of four $25 gift certificates to Orso. Details, 261-9318.

Organic produce
