Holiday Food and Gift Festival, noon-6 p.m. Friday, Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center, 600 W. Seventh St. A huge holiday show combining the spirts of Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Kwanza. Donations for Toys for Tots and food for The Children's Lunch Box will be accepted. (272-5634)
Parent's Night Out, 6-9 p.m. Friday, Selkregg Chalet, 1600 Lidia Selkregg Lane. Drop the kids off and enjoy some adult time. A variety of kids' activities will be available including arts and crafts, outdoor activities and games. For ages 6-12. Sponsored by Municipality of Anchorage. $15. (343-6992)
Family Fun Festival, noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Anchorage Cooperative Preschool, 3031 LaTouche St. Entertainment for the family, with Don the Magician, folk music by Robin Hopper, face painting, pumpkin toss and a mad scientist.
