Dec. 7: What's that bird?? Volunteer Liza Sanden will teach you how to correctly identify Alaska's winter birds in preparation for our local Christmas Bird Counts, 2 p.m., Eagle River Nature Center. The center also hosts the count in the Eagle River area on Sunday, Dec. 28. Free program, $5 parking for nonmembers. (694-2108)
