The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed Wednesday at $124.22 a barrel, down $1.58 for the day.

The U.S. natural gas price, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $11.49 per million BTU on Wednesday, up 31 cents from Tuesday's price.
Gold prices closed at $865.40 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, a loss of $3.10.
Zinc prices closed at $1.0756 per pound today, up 5.87 cents from Tuesday's price.
