TOURS RUNNING: Park has 200 buses, replacement mechanics.

Striking union members say at least 10 tourist buses have broken down over the weekend at Denali National Park.
Larry Bell, a spokesman for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1547, said eight buses were out of service Saturday and two more Sunday morning. He said the service garage lot is full.
The union represents mechanics, radio technicians and warehouse workers employed by Doyon-Aramark, the park concessionaire. A strike began Wednesday after six months of wage and pension talks.
Bell said Denali has about 120 buses. Bus service is important because there is only one road into the park, which is larger than the state of Massachusetts.
On Saturday, park spokeswoman Kris Fister said there had been no letup in the stream of visitors, and substitute mechanics have been hired.
