The University of Alaska Anchorage is hosting the 2008 Citywide Career and Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the UAA Wells Fargo Sports Complex. More than 100 recruiters are expected to participate, according to UAA. They include Target, BP, Alyeska Resort, ACS, GCI, the Arc of Anchorage, Princess Tours, Southcentral Foundation and Spenard Builders Supply, the university said.

The job fair is targeting everyone from the high school student looking for a summer job to professionals considering a career change, as well as full-time and part-time positions, said Lindsay Washek, acting director of the UAA Career Services Center.
Parking will be free, UAA said. Call 786-4513 for more information.
