Nonprofits get recycling discount
Green Star and Total Reclaim have teamed to offer discounted electronics recycling to nonprofits in June, according to Green Star.
Nonprofit organizations may bring their waste electronics to Total Reclaim’s warehouse at 12101 Industry Way, Unit C4, in the Huffman Business Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4. The cost to recycle will be 10 cents a pound, rather than the full price of 35 cents.
A three-year Rasmuson Foundation grant allows the 25-cents-a-pound discount until June 30, or a 20-cent discount until June 30, 2009, Green Star said.
