Shelly Ciarella was promoted to assistant vice president of marketing and communications for KeyBank's Alaska district. As a member of the KeyBank management team, she develops and manages marketing strategies for Key's major lines of business and provides marketing support and counsel to Alaska's executive leadership. Before Joining KeyBank in 2006, Ciarella was the director of corporate communications for Unity Mortgage in Atlanta, Ga. Since moving to Alaska, Ciarella has been active with the Lupus Foundation of Alaska, and chaired the 2007 Parade of Homes sponsorship committee.

RIM Architects has promoted Wayne Saucier to information technology director. Saucier previously served as information technology/business development manager for the Anchorage office, and is now based out of San Francisco where he will direct IT policy and personnel for all of RIM Architects' offices. Saucier brings eight years of information technology management and Web site design experience to the position. He was the former president and owner of DC Design & Consulting Inc, a local Web design firm.
