LEED APs have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices. Brodt has more than 25 years of design and construction experience in Alaska. He focuses on University of Alaska and government projects.

The Tatitlek Corp., an Alaska Native village corporation, has promoted staff to new positions and hired new talent. Mary Tesch was promoted to chief human resources officer. Tesch currently serves as secretary for the Anchorage Society of Human Resource Management; she was its president in prior years. Clay Van Kempema is the new director of information technology. He has 30 years of experience; his background includes stints as director of IT at Alaska Regional Hospital. Susan Sommer joined Tatitlek as director of corporate communications. Sommer's background is in writing and editing; she most recently worked as webmaster for Prince William Sound RCAC. Tanya Totemoff was promoted to records manager and will concentrate on standardizing the corporation's records management systems.
AMC Engineers has appointed Mark D. Langberg, P.E., as vice president of marketing. Langberg has 23 years of mechanical engineering experience in Alaska including project management, design and specification of plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems, construction administration and commissioning. He is a Construction Specification Institute certified document technician and a LEED-accredited professional.
Michael L. Foster & Associates Inc., an Alaskan-owned and -operated multidisciplined architecture and engineering firm, has announced the hiring of Ken B. Hunt, P.E., as a project civil engineer. Hunt has more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering and specializes in design and construction of public facilities, including roads, buildings and water and wastewater facilities.
