Target job fairs today

Target is holding two job fairs today, Friday and Saturday in Anchorage and Wasilla. The national retailer needs to hire about 400 people for the Anchorage store and about 300 to 350 people for the Wasilla store. Both stores will open in October. The job fairs will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Saturday at the Egan Center in downtown Anchorage and the city of Wasilla's Sports Complex on 1001 South Mack Drive.
Those who are unable to attend the fairs are still encouraged to apply for a job by visiting Target's temporary offices at the Marriot Residence Inn in Anchorage or the construction trailer at the Wasilla Target store, from now until Aug. 24. After that, people can apply for a job at the stores.
