She has over 10 years of experience serving nonprofit, governmental, and for-profit entities. Her primary focus is to assist clients in documenting, maintaining and assessing their internal controls.
Clifford P. Marvin, CCS, LEED AP, has joined KPB architects with over 11 years of experience in writing construction specifications and 25 years of architectural practice. Marvin's experience with LEED projects includes preparing specifications for the Bronx Library Center, the Clinton Presidential Library in Arkansas (platinum-level LEED), and the Brooklyn Children's Museum, slated to be NYC's first LEED-certified museum.
All for Kids Pediatric Therapy has hired three new health care providers. Paul Calkin, an occupational therapist, holds a master's of occupational therapy from Eastern Washington University in Spokane, Wash. Rebeccah Bieri earned a doctorate of physical therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. Occupational therapy focuses on factors affecting the child's independence in the home, school and play environments. Kelly Rutt has joined the practice as a physical therapist. She holds a master's degree in physical therapy from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. She focuses on factors affecting children's mobility in the home, school and play environments. Techniques used are aquatic therapy, normal development of gross motor skill activities and/or a neurodevelopmental approach to therapy.
The Alaska Bar Foundation and the Alaska Bar Association have recognized Andy Harrington, executive director of Alaska Legal Services Corp., with the Judge Jay Rabinowitz Public Service Award. The award is named after former Alaska Supreme Court Justice Jay Rabinowitz, who dedicated his life to public service.
