Business people

First National Bank Alaska's board of directors recently appointed Danielle Faller as accounting officer. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. Faller also has 11 years of banking experience, including six years in the financial division of First National, where she currently works as the assistant accounting manager. Timothy Breeden was appointed loan officer. Breeden holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in small business administration. After starting at the bank as a teller, Breeden moved up to the personal banker position before participating in the Management Associate program.

The Northern Lights Alaska Chapter of the American Payroll Association congratulates Carolyn Helmuth, payroll technician at Alutiiq, LLC, for earning her Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) from the American Payroll Association. Carolyn has worked in payroll for 15 years and has been with Alutiiq for four years. The examination required to gain certification includes testing and proficiency in core payroll concepts, compliance, paycheck calculations, payroll process and systems, accounting, and management and administration.
