The Alaska congressional delegation recently announced the following federal grants or contracts for Alaska or Alaska companies:
• $16 million to Tuluksak for construction of a new airport.
• $10.5 million to Takotna for construction of a new airport.
• $10 million to Petersburg for construction of a runway safety area.
• $6.8 million to Angoon for redesigning and constructing a state ferry terminal.
• $2.1 million to the Kenai airport for apron rehabilitation.
• 924,511 to the Alaska Railroad Corp. to acquire property for realigning track near Wasilla, and other safety improvements.
• $549,000 to Hoonah for the Hoonah Intermodal Ferry Dock
• $6.3 million to CCI Group of Anchorage for airfield improvements, drainage structures, deicing system piping and controls at Bangor Air National Guard Base in Bangor, Maine.
