2010 housing outlook is Chamber topic
The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce meets from noon-1 p.m. Monday at the Dena'ina Convention Center. Janelle Pfleiger from RE/MAX Properties and Rodney Jackson of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., will report on the current residential real estate market and refinancing trends, and forecast Anchorage's housing outlook for 2010. Federal grants are available to help Alaska companies maintain a competitive edge in changing markets. The nonprofit Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center in Seattle has grant money and technical know-how aimed at expanding business profitability and saving jobs. Center experts help companies with Web site design, new product development, site layout, manufacturing equipment design, multi-language marketing materials, exporting and other projects.
