Imaginarium closes doors for the winter on Aug. 23

The Imaginarium, a popular downtown children's museum, will close Aug. 23 and remain closed until spring.

Currently located at 737 W. Fifth Ave., the Imaginarium will relocate to new digs with expanded exhibits in the Anchorage Museum. During the move, staff will continue school outreach programs, according to a written announcement from the museum.
