An Anchorage man has been convicted of first-degree murder and other charges. KTUU-TV reports Nicholas Showers-Glover was convicted Thursday for the March 2007 shooting death of 18-year-old Jennifer Olson and the wounding of 22-year-old Kori Johnson.
Showers-Glover also was convicted of attempted murder and assault.
After the verdicts were read, Showers-Glover's family members broke down and sobbed.
Proceedings were stopped to allow the family to leave. Showers-Glover lashed out and slammed the tabletop and court officers moved quickly to handcuff him.
Sentencing is set for February.
