Police are seeking a masked gunman who robbed the Valley River 6 Cinemas in Eagle River on New Year's Day.

Buses go back to school after fire

School bus service in the Chugiak-Eagle River area is back to normal today after being disrupted Wednesday by a fire at a Chugiak bus barn. Firefighters continued to monitor the burned ruins of an apartment building and the attached school bus barn on the Old Glenn Highway Wednesday, according to spokesman Tom Kempton with the Anchorage Fire Department.
