THORNE BAY -- A Washington man died Tuesday in an early morning industrial accident in Thorne Bay, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers say Robert Lundberg, 46, of Ocean Shores, Wash., was pronounced dead at the Alicia Roberts Medical Center in Klawock following the accident.
The accident took place about 4 a.m. at the Northland Barge Services dock in Thorne Bay. Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters said she did not have, nor could she get, any further information on the incident.
The state medical examiner and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified, troopers said.
