BETHEL -- A man and his 12-year-old daughter who were missing overnight were rescued frostbitten and hypothermic, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Brian Walters, 51, and Rosheille Benlot were due back from a hunting trip in Eek on Friday night but had not returned by Saturday morning, troopers said.
Two trooper aircraft and several snowmobile teams began a search and located the pair near Lumavik Creek. They were transported to Napaskiak, then Bethel, for treatment of their substantially frostbitten feet, troopers said.
