The CBS television show "48 Hours Mystery" will air a story Saturday about the Mechele Linehan/John Carlin murder trials, according to the Alaska Department of Corrections.
The two-hour report, called "Love and Death in the Wilderness," features footage from the Anchorage trials plus interviews with both defendants shot primarily at the Hiland Mountain prison, said Corrections spokesman Richard Schmitz in a written announcement.
The show airs in Anchorage at 8 p.m. on KTVA Channel 11.
Linehan and Carlin were convicted in separate trials last year of murdering Kent Leppink in 1996 near Hope.
