JUNEAU - Alaska's highest court was expected today to look at issues concerning the right of Alaskans to possess small amounts of marijuana in their homes.
The Supreme Court was scheduled to hear arguments this afternoon in Juneau.
In May 2006, the Legislature revived a law that would criminalize adults possessing small amounts of marijuana in their homes.
The law earlier had been struck down by the Alaska Supreme Court.
The American Civil Liberties Union challenged the law. The ACLU argues that the state constitution and its privacy provisions protect adults who use marijuana in their homes.
