The robbery took place at about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday when the five men -- four adults and a 15-year-old -- stormed a home on the 4300 block of Reka Drive with guns and ski masks, held its resident at gunpoint and stole money, drugs, DVDs and electronics, police said.

The victim woke up to find three of the armed men in his bedroom ordering him to the floor. The victim whipped out a shotgun, which the suspects grabbed and stole as well, police said. The victim was not injured and was able to identify at least two of the suspects as people he knew who lived nearby.

Police located and arrested twin brothers Shane and Shawn Uele, 19, Jonathan Sala, 18, Eric Saole, 19, and the unnamed juvenile. All but the minor were taken to the Anchorage Jail, where they were being held on a number of felony counts of robbery, burglary, misconduct involving weapons, theft and assault, police said. The juvenile was taken to the McLaughlin Youth Center.

Shane Uele was already out on bail on several felony assault and riot charges stemming from a June 2007 beating at a Mountain View gas station in which he and a group of others allegedly attacked a man because he was wearing the colors of a rival gang, the Bloods, according to police. His trial on those charges is scheduled for June.
