MOUNTAIN VILLAGE -- A woman attending a graduation ceremony in Mountain Village imported booze from Bethel and was robbed by a customer, Alaska State Troopers said.
The woman was walking home from the graduation ceremony with a group of friends when four men approached them Thursday night.
The men, one of whom had previously bought a bottle of liquor from the woman, began to attack her, snatching her purse and backpack along with about $1,000 in cash and alcohol, troopers said.
The woman received injuries that weren't life-threatening and was transported to Bethel for medical treatment.
Harry Aguchak, 25, Franklin Gregory Jr., 27, Arnold Agwiak, 20, and Mitch Galen Waskey, 19, all of Mountain Village, were arrested Friday on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree theft and fourth-degree assault. They were being held on the charges in Bethel.
Troopers refused to name the woman, saying she could be facing charges for importing the alcohol.
