A Seattle man pleaded guilty this week to a single charge that he sexually harassed a federal fisheries observer aboard the fishing vessel he was working on, according to the U.S. attorney.
Lauti Fale Tuipala, 33, had already spent 21 days in jail on the charge and was sentenced to pay $461 in restitution, complete two hours of sexual harassment training and stay at least 50 yards away from the observer, according to prosecutors. He also got six months' probation.
Tuipala and the observer were working aboard the fishing vessel Aleutian Spray at the time of the harassment.
