A front-page story Thursday on soaring prices in rural Alaska erred in making reference to $10 per gallon gas in Barrow. The story later documented $10 a gallon gas in Anaktuvuk Pass, but not in Barrow.

A story on Page A-4 Saturday about candidates for office in Mat-Su incorrectly listed Matanuska-Susitna Borough School Board candidate Brian Sullivan as Brian Thompson.
