UNALASKA -- A man who surrendered his computer to authorities following a fraud conviction was charged with possessing child pornography after officers searched the machine.
Jozef Gyongyosi is facing one count of possessing child porn after investigators discovered more than 50 images on the computer, said Ron Tidler, commander of the Alaska Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Gyongyosi was arrested Thursday, the same day he was to board a plane and leave the country, Tidler said.
Officials searching his home after the discovery found several other computers that are now being searched for illegal images, he said. More charges could be pending.
