DUI - Charles R. Johnson, 42, of Wasilla, 6:13 p.m., Sept. 20, Mile 38.5 of the Parks Highway, $1,000 bail.
INCIDENTS
Death investigation - On Sept. 19 at 8:30 p.m., troopers responded to the death of Esten Carper, 54, of Palmer. Troopers said Carper died at his home off Witez Road in Palmer. Next of kin were on scene. No foul play is suspected.
Collision - On Sept. 20 at 5:52 a.m., troopers responded to a pick-up-moose collision on the Parks Highway and Trunk Road. Jennifer Bozine, 21, of Wasilla, was injured when the moose came through the windshield. Bozine was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
Death investigation - On Sept. 20, at 10:05 a.m., troopers responded to the death of Richard DeRemer, 69, of Wasilla. Troopers said DeRemer died at a residence on North Sushana Drive in Wasilla. Next of kin were on the scene. No foul play is suspected.
Hit and run - On Sept. 20 at 11:20 p.m., troopers responded to a hit-and-run collision near the intersection of Luke Street and the Palmer-Wasilla Highway in Wasilla. Christine M. Jarmer, 37, of Wasilla was driving a taxi east on the highway when it was hit from behind by another vehicle. Jarmer's cab was forced into the ditch and sustained extensive damage. Jarmer reported no injuries. The other vehicle was a light green, pickup or SUV with damage to the driver's side front quarter panel.
Death investigation - On Sept. 21, at 5:29 p.m., troopers responded to the death of Linda Lou Cottrell, 63, of Palmer, Cottrell died at a home at 1670 Wagon Road near Palmer. No foul play was suspected.
WASILLA POLICE
SUMMONS
Driving without a license, no insurance - Todd M. Andrews, 40, of Wasilla, Knik Goose Bay Road.
Minor consuming - Rozlynne Demoski, 20, of Wasilla, 12:07 a.m., Sept. 18.
No driver's license - John Burk, 24, of Houston, 12:59 a.m., Sept. 18.
No driver's license - Stefan Whitis, 35, of Houston, 2:01 a.m., Sept. 19.
INCIDENTS
Burglary - On Sept. 16 at 6:52 a.m., police received a report of a break-in at the Back & Neck Center on Swanson Avenue. Police discovered the following businesses had been burglarized or an attempt had been made: European Deli, Northern Mist Gifts and Stamping Moose.
Vandalism - On Sept. 18, police received a call from Katie Renner, 26, of Wasilla who reported three family vehicles had their tires slashed. Damage was estimated at $800.
Theft - On Sept. 18, Sandra Peshang, 39, of Wasilla, told police her .38-caliber Derringer had been stolen.
Collision - On Sept. 20 at 4:12 p.m., troopers responded to a two-car collision at Mile 51 of the Parks Highway. A 15-year-old girl from Wasilla was driving south on the Parks Highway when she crossed the center line and hit a northbound car driven by Donna Gallant, 19, of Big Lake. The teen had four passengers in her vehicle. One of the juvenile passengers was medevaced from the scene to Providence Hospital in Anchorage with critical injuries. The teen driver and three others were taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. The driver was treated for minor injuries and released. Two passengers were later transported to Anchorage hospitals from Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. Gallant and her passenger, Timothy Abell, 44, of Wasilla were taken to Mat-Su Regional with serious injuries.

Probation violation, eluding - Kevin Clark, 27, of Palmer, Sept. 14, $6,750 bail.
Failure to appear, driving while license suspended - Jason Daniel Davis, 26, of Anchorage, Sept. 15, $500 bail.
