DUI - Anthony M. King Jr., 29, of Fairbanks, 9:10 p.m., Oct. 5, G&G Food Mart on Fireweed Road, Wasilla, $2,500 bail.

INCIDENTS

Criminal mischief, vandalism - On Sept. 30 at 1:30 a.m., troopers responded to Mile 2 of Fairview Loop in Wasilla for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. A car had a flat tire and was left along the road while the driver went to get some tools to change it. While the driver was gone, someone broke out the windshield, rear window, both passenger side windows, and caused damage by jumping on the roof and hood. The vehicle sustained several thousand dollars in damage.

Wreck, property damage - On Sept. 30 at 12:45 a.m., troopers responded to a car accident at Knik Goose Bay Road and Settlers Bay Drive. An unknown female driver in a Blue 1991 GMC Sierra bearing Alaska license plate EZR553 left the roadway at the intersection and collided with a buried telephone cable box causing the vehicle to roll. The driver fled the scene before troopers arrived. Anyone with information about this incident should contact Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

Burglary - On Sept. 27 at 2:46 p.m., troopers responded to a home burglary on Suburban Drive in Wasilla. Between Sept. 6 and 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 27, Thieves broke in through a bedroom window and stole DVDs, power tools and a 1996 green and white Kawasaki KX250 motorcycle.

Death investigation - On Sept. 30 at 2:08 p.m., Carol Hushower, 40, of Palmer, reported that her father-in-law had died. Jack Hushower, 60, of Palmer, died of natural causes. No foul play is suspected.

Death investigation - On Sept. 30 at 3:10 a.m., Debra Linn, 52, of Wasilla died in her home after a long illness. The next of kin was present at the time. There is no suspicion of foul play.

Theft - On Oct. 1 troopers investigated a theft of a Yamaha Grizzly ATV from a yard off of West Blondell Drive in Wasilla. The ATV, valued at $6,000, was stolen sometime within the previous three months.

Burglary, theft - On Oct. 1 at 7 p.m., troopers received a report of a burglary at a home off Cottonwood Way near Wasilla. Between 8:50 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., two lap tops and jewelry valued at $1,000 was stolen.

Theft - On Oct. 3 at 2 a.m., troopers responded to a 911 hang-up call at a residence off Ardgour Court in Wasilla. Mark A. Murray reported that on Oct. 2 between 4:30 and 7 p.m., about $700 was stolen from his wallet in his home.

Assault, domestic violence, burglary, theft - Robert Douglas Edwards, 36, of Wasilla, 8 a.m., Sept. 30.

Assault, domestic violence - Richard Hacker, III, 30, of Wasilla, 5 a.m., Oct. 3, City Center Business Park, Knik Goose Bay Road, no bail.

Failure to appear - Chad Wylie, 28, of Wasilla, 10:24 p.m., Oct. 3, Old Matanuska Road, $1,000 bail.

DUI - Teague Embrey, 24, of California, 1:29 a.m., Oct. 4, 2008, Parks Highway, $2,500 bail.

Driving while license suspended - Robert Daggett, 20, of Wasilla, 11:39 p.m., Sept. 27.

Driving while license suspended - Roger Brown, 46, of Wasilla, 3:39 p.m., Oct. 3, Kenai Supply Road.

Driving while license revoked - Robert Pacillas, Jr., 28, of Wasilla, 12:59 a.m., Oct. 4.

No license - Jeremiah Thrift, 22, no home town given, 12:25 a.m., Oct. 5, Parks and Palmer-Wasilla highways.

INCIDENTS

Theft - On Sept. 26 at 12:54 p.m., Beth Quynh, 35, of Wasilla reported she left her diaper bag at Carl's Jr. When she returned about 30 minutes later the bag and its contents had been stolen.

Vandalism - On Sept. 27 at 10:41 a.m., Steven Edward, 48, of Wasilla, reported to police that someone damaged the west end ball fields at Wasilla High School. Numerous buildings had been spray painted and damage had been done to the lawn. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Wasilla Police Department at 352-5401 or Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

Car theft - On Oct. 3 at 3:47 a.m., Shelby Plonta, 17, of Wasilla, called police to report her car had been stolen. At about the same time, state troopers saw the car at the end of North Star Circle after the driver had eluded them. The thief fled before troopers could make an identification.

Theft - On Oct. 3 at 3:33 p.m., Robert Noe, 54, of Wasilla, reported the theft of his 1988 orange Suzuki four-wheeler from a home at Naomi Road and Seward Meridian Parkway.

Theft - On Oct. 4 at 11 p.m., police responded to the Grandview Inn for a report of a watch that had been stolen. Dara Sylvester, 30, of Hawaii, said her $1,000 Gucci was stolen from her hotel room.

Theft - On Oct. 3, police received a report that an X-Box 360 was stolen from a home on Oct. 1. Its estimated cost is $400.
