INCIDENTS
Misconduct involving weapons, criminal mischief - On Nov. 4 at 9 a.m., troopers responded to an apartment complex on East Beaver Ave. in Wasilla for a report of windows being broken out of a vehicle in the parking lot. At approximately 6 a.m., unknown suspect(s) fired a shotgun round that shattered the rear window of the vehicle parked next to the apartment complex. Multiple eggs were also thrown onto the vehicle. The damage is estimated at more than $500. Anyone with information can call Alaska State Troopers at 745-2131/373-8300 or contact Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
Wreck, injury - On Nov. 5 at 4:34 p.m., troopers responded to a single vehicle rollover on Fairview Loop Road at the intersection of Well Site Road. Catherine Hatfield, 23, of Wasilla, was operating her 1995 Plymouth Voyager van northbound on Fairview Loop Road and was navigating a corner when the rear wheels of her vehicle lost traction causing the vehicle to drive off an embankment. The vehicle rolled over twice before coming to rest, on its roof, at the bottom of the embankment. Hatfield had her two children as passengers in the vehicle. All parties reported wearing their seat belts. Hatfield was treated by EMS for minor injuries and released. Hatfield's children were uninjured during the collision. The vehicle was totaled.
Wreck, injury - On Nov. 6 at 2:49 p.m., troopers responded to Bogard Road near Tait Drive. A 2000 Ford Taurus driven by Donna Buckwalter, 42, of Wasilla, was headed north on Bogard Road when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Darroll Hargraves, 67 of Wasilla, which was headed south on Bogard Road. Both occupants were wearing safety belts, but were transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center for serious injuries. Both vehicles were estimated to be total losses. The investigation is continuing.
Death investigation - On Nov. 6 at 8:34 p.m., troopers received a report of a deceased person at an assisted living home on East.Porcupine Trail near Wasilla. Nancy Reese, 71, of Wasilla died due to natural causes.
Assault, disorderly conduct - On Nov. 9 at 12:37 a.m., troopers responded to a residence on Dolly Varden Drive to the report of shots being fired. Investigation determined that no shots had been fired, however, a 17-year-old Wasilla girl was highly intoxicated when she challenged and assaulted Heather Mathews, 24, of Wasilla by punching her in the face. The girl ran from the residence and to the residence of Robert Locke, 26, of Wasilla and pounded on the door screaming that someone had been shot. Locke allowed the girl into his residence. The girl then became combative and attacked Robert's wife, Brooke. The 17-year-old ran from the residence and was contacted by Alaska State Troopers outside Mathews' residence. She was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Youth facility after being medically cleared at Mat-Su Regional Hospital.

Driving while license revoked - Dae Poteet, 18, of Willow, Nov. 6, 10:17 p.m.
DUI - Ronald McKinney, 47, of Wasilla, Nov. 6, 2:47 a.m., at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, $5,000 bail.

Driving while license revoked - Robert J. Sweeney, 42, of Wasilla, Nov. 6, 1:39 a.m.
INCIDENTS
Burglary - On Nov. 6 at 6:02 p.m., Chelsea Scarlett, 34, of Wasilla returned home from work and discovered her residence on Lakeview Avenue had been burglarized. Scarlett reported a flat screen television, a laptop computer and miscellaneous medications had been stolen from her residence.
Vandalism - On Nov. 7, 2008, at approximately 9:20 a.m., it was discovered that unknown suspects had broken all three of the overhead florescent lights in the men's restroom at Wonderland Park. The investigation continues,
